City of Heroes subscribers will no longer be receiving their monthly comic books in the mail. Beginning with Issue 7 they'll be sent digital copies (PDF format) via email instead. Die-hard comics collectors still have the option to receive physical copies, but this will require an additional fee.
As you may already be aware, we have recently changed our distribution method regarding the monthly City of Heroes comic book. To ensure delivery to everyone including our international customers, a physical comic book will no longer be postal mailed to subscribers. Starting with Issue 7, the comic will 'go digital' and be provided each month in .pdf format on the website for all City of Heroes and City of Villains players to view and/or save.

This being said...we realize that many of you are collectors and still want to receive physical copies. Don't despair - the opportunity is not lost! If you would like to continue to have comic book issues mailed to you, you may now subscribe through the PlayNC.com website. The subscription rate is $1.99 a month, or $9.99 for 6 months, a great savings off the newsstand price! Even better, subscribe by Nov 2nd and get Issue 7 free!

It's easy...just log in to your PlayNC account here (https://secure.plaync.com/cgi-bin/plaync_manage.pl) and click the City of Heroes Comic Book Subscription link to register. Before you know it, you'll once again have beloved heroes delivered directly to your mailbox...and your collection can remain complete! Don't lapse an issue – subscribe today to get Issue 7 as a free bonus!
