Game Club Central has reviewed the gold edition of 'Dark Age of Camelot' which contains the original game, the 'Shrouded Isles' retail expansion pack and the free 'Foundations' housing add-on. Rating: 8.5 out of 10 points.

Here's a bit:
Like their Server options, DAoC Gold Edition offers the player a wealth of options when it comes to a player character. Each realm in the game is known for its strength in certain dispositions. The Midgard realm is known for its heavy orientation toward fighting and combat. The Hibernian realm is known for its inclinations toward magic while the Albion realm is a balance between the two. First, each realm offers 5 starting races to choose from that will affects the stats your character will have (Ex. The Avalonian’s of Albion are noted for high Intelligence for magic. Trolls of the Midgard realms are known for high Strength, etc.). From there, you would choose a starting profession that encompasses the basic aspect of your future profession.
