Yet another 'City of Heroes' review, this time at NoMansLand with a score of 81%:
Something every person in modern day society has experienced is the super hero culture. The image of a lone figure with exceptional abilities battling for justice even to adults is rather cool. I have always wanted to make my own super hero, and I even drew out plans and wrote likkle stories when bored in study (well, it was that or English *shudder*). So, imagine my joy when I first heard about City of heroes ! City of Heroes (CoH) is one of NCsoft's new MMORPGs, released alongside Lineage 2 and paving the way for Guild wars . Rather than the tried and tested "fantasy" setting, CoH puts an original spin on the MMORPG template, and lets the player make a super hero (as the name suggests, surprisingly enough). At time of writing, there seems to be an American majority on the servers (seeing as the game is yet to be released in many other countries), so the servers are pretty deserted during the day, but I have met many European players, even some Aussies in my month of play.
