The Chaos Eclipse is upon them..... Ok I'm confused as much as you are (unless you are a player) so here is the ews info: The Chaos Eclipse pulls heavily upon the dreamstate, strange happenings are plenty within the walls of the Dream. Dreamers look for aid in this dark time that has descended upon them, only to find the screams of a nightmare to heed their call. Through the twilight of the eclipse comes something odd, however. Codices are appearing about the dream describing the Chaos Ritual, the ritual that may turn the tide in the continuing war between Dreamer and Dark Mare. Why have they returned? From where did they come? Will the dreamers whos paths happen across these codices be able to use them wisely, and unlock the knowledge that is contained, to offer the aid dreamers seek, or will their meddling damage the dream more than the blackness of the Eclipse? hmmm, maybe this is better: It is said in the ancient texts that the Chaos Eclipse is an increase in Chaotic activity within and without the Dream. The exact cause of this is unknown, though speculations point to a 'pocket' of concentrated chaos passing by the Dream at irregular intervals (often more than a year). If these ancient words be true, the Chaos Eclipse looms near, dreamers, and if my calculations do not fail me, the three days prior to the eleventh day of the eigth month, shall find the Eclipse at its most potent. What of the signs that have already begun to appear? What could they mean? Are you prepared? Is the City ready? Each and every dreamer must decide these things for themselves in the fateful days ahead. Ah, right now I know. This means some fun is ahead..... I think :-).
