PC.IGN has an Auto Assault article written by NetDevil themselves and tagged A tour of the human intro maps, with 20 new screens:"The initial route was blocked off by a Scav ambush in the ruins," Rigby said. They had collapsed one of the ruined buildings and tried to trap him in, but he fought through it and his guidance system had rerouted him through a series of old sewer tunnels before emerging into the Range. "I didn't realize the problems with the Scavs were so bad out here."
Bracken smirked. "Our relationship with the Scavs is in a state of flux. The problem is it's hard to tell which state we're currently in," he said, laughing at his own little joke. Then he got a little more serious. From what Rigby remembered from the history holos, Scavs were a portion of what was left of the mostly human population that survived up on the surface. They were scavengers for the most part -- able to put together a workable vehicle from piles of junk and survive on the most basic of foods. Hestia had a working relationship with them, providing a labor force for the construction projects on the surface -- even basic citizenship for some. |
