Now, following revelations earlier in the month that the game will receive new downloadable content at the end of the year through Xbox Live, a little more info on the planned freebies has come to light.

LucasArts previously commented that KOTOR's downloadable content would consist of "a variety of new weapons and other items to assist players on in-game quests."

We now know that "items" includes both armour and equipment, and that the content coming via Xbox Live will be in keeping with, and integrate with, Knights of the Old Republic's story/plotline and combat system.

Apparently, players will be able to grab weapons, armour and equipment included in the downloaded content from certain locations in the game world.
