Two Diablo II LoD Reviews

There are two new reviews for Diablo 2 - Lord of Destruction out there on the net. The first one is done by Gamespy, and it rates the game 85%. Here's something from the detailed review:

Anyone who plays Diablo II in order to acquire more "shiny stuff" than their friends is going to love Lord Of Destruction. New and more varied forms of rare, unique, and set items abound. You're also more likely to find an item somewhere where you're strong enough to actually use them. Several Act V quests even allow you to personalize an item with your name, or add sockets to any item -- even uniques.

Speaking of sockets, there's more stuff to plug'n'play with than ever. Armor now accepts socket items (they behave the same as if they were in helms), gems are more plentiful, and there are new jewels and runes to place in the slots. Jewels' abilities are completely random -- you can find magnificent abilities, but you will also end up with a lot of powers that are worse than if you used high-quality gems. Runes offer power-ups gems can't, and if runes are inserted into items in a set order, they can do more than if used individually.

The scond review can be found at 3DArcade. The ir rating is 90%, they feature more screenshots than text - and this a short part of it:

In LoD you will find that you fill up your inventory very quickly, even though you now have double the space! Because the new charms you "will" find can take up a great amount of space. Take some advice and only keep a couple around maximum, and those only of greater value. There are many that will add little points, but all the grand charms will suck up the room quick. Toss, sell, or trade them to make room for what is to come.
