A fairly detailed preview of Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is showcased at Games Radar.
For all Half-Life 2's blinding technology, it didn't contain a single wizard. Tsk. Spotting this gargantuan flaw, developer Arkane whipped the Source engine from beneath Gordon's feet and ran off to cast spells with it.
The result: a first-person stabber/archer/speller based within the Might and Magic universe - and it's looking good already. And yet, ironically, we still haven't seen a single wizard.
Never mind. Even those not familiar with the M and M games (which reached well into double figures with role-playing and strategy variants before fading away several years back) needn't worry about not being up to speed.
You can read the rest over at Gamesradar.com. Thanks to Blue's News for the tip.
