PC Gaming has published a Xenus interview. They talked to Alexander Khrutsky about this upcoming game. Here's an interesting part about the huge gameworld and the ability to move freely within:
Q: What kind of levels can we expect?

A: The action will take place in huge territory - more than 650 sq. km. Our engine is good as for open and for enclosed spaces. There are no “locations” in Xenus. You may freely move around the territory. You will lay your way through jungles, towns, mountains, swamps, river banks, military bases, rail stations, hidden coca factories and airports, Indian villages, ancient ruins and some others. All types of environment are fully interactive and realistic. In jungles you will see birds, in mountains - lizards, etc. Colombian towns are full of life - there are native inhabitants moving on the streets; police patrols and aggressive gangs at night. There are a lot of shops where you can buy different goods from a bottle of tequila to an AK-47 with full magazine.
