Game Axis has reviewed Atari's D&D: Heroes for the Xbox. The score is 9/10 and here's an excerpt:
While we would have loved more character interaction and a better plot, we also know that there’s a fine line between what’s mainstream for a console title and what’s niche. The appeal of Heroes is that it targets a wider range of gamers, including females, and that is a respectable formula. It’s one of those Gauntlet-type genres that don’t need you to do any soul-searching or solve brain-hemorrhaging puzzles too much.
