Guido Henkel - does that name ring a bell ? No ? Then you've probably never heard of German attic Entertainment's (meanwhile out of business) highly acclaimed Realms of Arkania trilogy, the 2nd part of which won an 'RPG of the Year' award in the U.S. back in 1994. You probably also don't remember that he was the producer of Black Isle's/Interplay's award winning Planescape Torment until about six (some say eight) months prior to the game's completion. But maybe you have visited his wife's DVD review site DVD Review.com where he worked until rumor had it some time last year that he was planning on a return to the game industry. He once stated in an interview that his next project might very well be an MMORPG.

Ever since then we've been waiting for a status update on this very talented developer's/producer's whereabouts. And now he's back as CEO of G3 Studios, a developer focusing on video games for Handheld computers. *Ouch* I really wish he would have returned as an RPG producer but it's nonetheless good to see him back in the gaming biz. Good luck with your new venture, Guido :)
