AO: European release date pushed back !!!

In an attempt to not further confuse or annoy any European fans of Anarchy Online who were cheering at the news of AO gone gold from yesterday, IŽll just quote this report we spotted at FGN:

    Anarchy Online Stalls in Europe

    Online: FuncomŽs massively multiplayer online title, Anarchy Online has yet to be dated for release in Europe.

    It was announced yesterday that Anarchy Online had gone gold and would ship in Nordic and North America by June 27 with servers going live that day. Even though the game is being developed in Europe, a solid release date has yet to be set for its long awaited release.

    "We aim to release Anarchy Online in the rest of Europe later this fall, and we will return with further details soon," a spokeswoman for the firm told FGN Online this morning.
