Baldur's Gate 2 - Shadows of Amn: 10/10 points |
Baldur's Gate 2 has the most indepth, and detailed story line of any RPG I have ever played, not to mention one of the most open and free enviroments. |
Darkstone: 7/10 points |
The character progression was fun, and the story line significantly more interesting than many I have encountered. The dungeons were very dark, and thus often times a tense and jolting experience. I would very much like to give this game an 8 or 9, but I feel it would be unfair to the true greats of the genre. I give it a 7, and would recommend everyone at least try the demo. |
Diablo 2: 7/10 points |
A truely enjoyable quick thrill. 4 days of serious play finds you face to face with diablo himself in the final battle. Graphics were nice, character advancment fun, and the story line was hooking. But when all is said and done I must demote the game for lack of length, and depth. |
Elder Scrolls 3 - Morrowind: 10/10 points |
The greatest game I have ever played from any genre. I have played MANY games. This tops the cake. |
Eye of the Beholder: 8/10 points |
This game was fully engrossing, and challenging. The story line was very small and simple, yet the puzzles and levels I thought were hooking. When comparing it to other games of the time and genre like Homeworld and such, I would have to give this game an 8. |
Fallout 2: 9/10 points |
I found this game to have an extreamly detailed, and origional story line. The free, and often times open-air inviroment of the game is all around enthralling. Aside from Baldur's Gate 2, this game is hard pressed for equals. |
Gothic: 9/10 points |
The combination of richly detailed interactivity of both NPC's and worldly items, with full 3D graphics was both unique and much appreciated. Add to that the detailed NPC audio tracks, and truely origional story line, this becomes a must have for everyones RPG game list. |
Nox: 8/10 points |
Haha! fun fun fun. I genuinely enjoyed this game to its fullest extent. Your trailer park trash avatar I found especially enlightening. Advancing was fun and always exciting, and although the story line was not entirely serious, I found it really added to the jovial light hearted feel of the game. The ONLY aspect I found degrading was the lack of ability to revisit previously explored stages of the game. After completing the game, I found the re-play value moderately high. |
