Calling Cthulhu offers a post E3 talk with BethSoft's marketing director Pete Hines today and as a Cthulhu fan site, they of course talked Cthulhu:
Also on the first day, the box art was revealed. Who was responsible for this piece of art?
A great artist that we've wanted to work with for a while, named Craig Mullins. He's amazingly talented. We had some ideas for a main image and I talked with the folks at Headfirst to get their sense of what kinds of things they were thinking about. After a few conference calls, some drafts, more calls and drafts, we had our box front. I think it's brilliant and we got a lot of positive feedback from folks at the show. People were trying to buy the banners out of our booth. We also had that same image on big stickers/posters on all the front doors in and out of the convention center and most of those got swiped by people leaving the show on the last day, so that's a good sign. Nobody takes stuff that looks like junk or for games they don't care about. That's probably the thing I'm most excited about after folks liking the game, that people were coming up to me and commenting on how cool the Cthulhu signs/posters were.
