A Dragon Empires Dev Diary has been posted at the official site. Lore Writer Rob Adams describes what he does:
I’ve been here working on the DE team for nearly three months now with the express purpose of writing the lore, the history and the background to Fortitude. Last week saw the first appearance of ‘Gadsolme’, a traveller, historian and adventurer of Fortitude who, in the following weeks and months will be revealing little by little the tales, histories and events of the land.

Being a bit of a retiring type these days it’s pretty difficult to find much out about the fellow but what I do know is he’s pretty well travelled (well, duh!). Apparently a bit of a hell raiser when he was young he managed to get through a clutch of personal tutors while his father, a prominent merchant, travelled and traded across Fortitude. Gadsolme has lived among many of the varying cultures present in the Dragon Empires. He has occupied many jobs over the years from bounty hunter and trader to blacksmith and huntsman (there are even some rumours that he spent some of his youth in a particularly notorious band of outlaws, a fact that he denies). Even as we speak he is in the process of collecting his memoirs together in one volume, perhaps he’ll let us in on some of the details sometime soon.
