GameConnect Magazine's Igor Raffaele has unveiled his somewhat upbeat review of Gooka: The Mystery of Janatris, in which he awards Gooka an overall 7 out of 10 scoring...

Gooka's light adventuring and RGP gameplay mixture will appeal to fans of either genre for its refreshing blending of genres, as well as to those who would not usually bother with either, due to the more accessible nature of the game.

In view of such an appealing nature, it is a low down dirty shame that the game itself should contain so many technical and design flaws to stop it from achieving cult status.

On the other hand, it took Final Fantasy no less than seven iterations before it became a worldwide phenomenon, and another four before game reviewers stopped complaining about its flaws. With a little work, Gooka has the potential to achieve the same kind of appeal with a lot less sequels.
