Gamepower reviewed Legends of Might & Magic, the multiplayer hack'n slay RPG that received lukewarm reception elsewhere. But GamePower is different, rates the game 4/12 bolts out of 5. Here's the final verdict of their 2 page article:

The graphics are strong, but not heart-pounding. The LithTech engine runs both in- and outdoor levels with ease, and the pallets of browns, greens, beige, and blues are pleasing. Conversely, the monster animation gets a bit weird; the lizard-like things actually seemed to hop, rather than walk or run. Nevertheless, I'll take a slight animation hit to get fast frame rates.

There's nothing new here, but neither is there anything wrong. Legends Of Might And Magic combines much of what has come before, throws it into a medieval world, and produces an exhilarating shooter. Who cares if innovation isn't the meat of this game; its tasty action more than satisfies my sweet tooth.
