A new review of Warcraft 3: Where? At Drunkgamers! Opinion: Very positive! Rating: 9.5/10! Snippet? Here you go:In all of its glory I did find a few shortcomings in the game. They're nothing horribly bad but it does get on your nerves when you have an army of 125 and you can only select 12 of your troops at a time. That way you're constantly dragging your mouse around the screen telling those damn puppets what to do. There are some automated commands that make up for this though; like the fact you're able to send troops into combat automatically as soon as they're spawned. Another fault is in the camera angles. The mouse wheel acts as a sort of "zoom", but only to an extent. Spinning the wheel forward shifts your view from directly overhead to a relative 1/4 overhead view--so you can see more of what is in front of you. It's a cool effect, but the most directly-above head view is plagued by a lack of height. You'll be trying to find a way to get more of the action on screen, only to give up 30 minutes later when you realize there's no way. There was also no nude women in the game, and I will continue my campaign of trying to get the beauty of the female form involved in more of our favorite releases. |
