Santa Claus was kind enough to bring a copy of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for the Playstation 2 for me :-) (well, I actually told him he should do so). While it isn't exactly what you'd expect from a BG game, it is a nice dungeon crawl, nevertheless. Beautiful graphics, nice cutscenes and a rather intuitive interface. You could call it a mixture between Diablo 2 and BG, since it's quite straightforward and features places, races and monsters from the Forgotten Realms. You can play one of three characters (ranger, dwarf warrior and a sorceress), and you collect items, armor, potions and such. There's a nice little storyline involved in that, and you'll have fun in single player and coop mode.

Can't say the game is breathtaking, but it will keep you busy and interested quite some time. Check our "at a glance"-page for more info on that game...
