Blizzard Software has plans on releasing a patch for World of Warcraft, as well as working on a future expansion. Blizzard currently has version 1.5 of World of Warcraft loaded on the test server for beta testing, and is planning on publishing the patch within a month. While the patch incorporates several small changes and bug fixes, the big feature of the next patch is the incorporation of battlegrounds.
