RPGVault starts a new series of development reports, this time about Iritor Online, and upcoming MMORPG. Their first installment tells you how Wootsoft (the makers) came into being, and what made them make their game. Here's a short excerpt:
Two of the company founders were still working on a game for a different company when they realized that the company would never manage to properly fund the title or even recruit a team able to do it. One late night, we started arguing about how unbalanced current MMORPGs were and how one could create a game system far superior to anything out there. We sat down and created a set of axioms on which to base our game balance. In the very same night, the first prototype of a typical melee combat situation was created. It was that night when the vision of seeing our own game come alive one day grew from a far away dream into something that was unbearable not to achieve.
