FileFront has whipped up a comparative review of Irrational's 'Freedom Force vs The Third Reich' (comparative as in finding similarities between the original 'Freedom Force' and its successor). If comic books are your thing, then the sequel to Freedom Force should be on your wish list. The game is shaping up to offer the same loveable comic book style, killer POWs and unique costumes. That and the super hero voices sound like some sort of 50’s commercial announcer. It just makes you feel so good and tingly inside.
Freedom Force Vs. the Third Reich follows the original, which was released in 2002 by Irrational Games. The series brings us a campy, highly dramatized style of colorful representations of comic super heroes, putting them in a foursome to do battle against classic evil super villains. Each hero has his own power, and what is fun about the game is the variety of attacks and the way in which each hero takes down their opponents. |
