Their rating is 84%, and stated it could have been in development a little bit longer. here's their conclusion: Heroes of Might and Magic IV is a worthy addition to the series, despite the lack of flourish in the combat sequences. But 3DO needs to patch the game to deliver on its promises -- namely multiplayer support, more maps, and greater stability. Even with its shortcomings, however, it's the ideal continuation of a storied franchise. It not only plays a different game, it plays a better game
