Here's the latest news from the banks of the Nile:
    Citizens of Egypt,

There are a *ton* of new subscribers this time, thanks to the great article on EuroGamer.net. I'd like to welcome all of you, and invite you to the next play session:

    Friday, 4/5/2002 from 12:00 Noon EST (GMT-0500) through 4:00PM

An incredible amount of progress was made last session, including:

    * Introduction of the first "teachable" skill: Fire Fountain Construction. Serius and the other Scholars of Thoth won Pharaoh's challenge to acquire this extremely rare skill.
    * A new largest Obelisk, 32 cubits high, now towers over the TTA camp. Congratulations to Hasim for passing the Test of the Obelisk.
    * Completion of Arbitration technology, another Teachable skill.
    * The House of Bes built the first Paper Press in Egypt, and made it public!
    * Construction of the first courthouse, also by the members of the House of Bes.
    * Construction of a Student's Forge with Pinch Rollers, by the members of the Guild of Shadows.
    * Construction of the first and second Precious Furnaces by Scholars of Thoth, and Immortal.

Also, signups for Tugament II have started. Check out:
