Final Fantasy 11 is by far the best game I have played in my life so far. For people who like to interact with others, adventure in fantasy worlds, and like games that never really stay the same, this game is perfect for you. It allows you to experience things fairly, and equally, there are always people willing to help you, and there are so many changes like summerfest, harvest of fear and more. It's never really the same, thus it never gets old, and it's sort of fun when you're a higher level and people look up to you. :) |

best mmorpg I've played, just a few things I'd change though ie, leveling system never really been a fan of it |

Pro's- Great storylines, deeply evolved.
Cons- the ui sucks, cant alt-tab, no windowed mode. Poor in game travel system leads to long periods of walking through barren landscapes.
final statement- Great idea but its like when you go on a date, you want to take out the hot girl not the grandmother and this game in every respect is the grandmother of MMORPG's after the great grandmother of EQ. It does not hold a candle to the current titles such as World of Warcraft in respect to game play, user interface etc. The alt-tab and no windowed mode are like the icing on the cake that made me throw this game in the pointless waste of time basket. For Square Enix to believe that the removal of Alt-tabbing and having no windowed mode is in some way making it harder for cheaters and botters then they really need to get up to date. Those are the kind of procautions that may have worked 10 years ago, nowadays is does nothing.
So in closing, if you want to play a game that has a good storyline but a user interface that would be more at home on a 386 then go right ahead, otherwise with WoW coming down in price everyday as well as having a cheaper subscription, come play a good user friendly rpg. |
