Neocron has shipped in Germany a couple of weeks ago and will be available in other countries in October. Here's a bit about Neocron's setting/background: Neocron's 27th century setting is a grim one. A nuclear war between communist China and the "Federation of the Free World" that erupted in the middle of the 22nd century killed more than 23 billion people and rendered the Earth into a nearly lifeless, radioactive mudball rent by extreme tectonic activity and battered by colossal storms. After centuries of precarious barbarism, the few remaining survivors discovered caches of technological information and created advanced civilizations. Predictably, new wars broke out between these civilizations, now armed with dangerously potent weaponry. Fed up with the endless conflicts and their poisoned planet, most of Earth's inhabitants decided to abandon it and colonize another solar system when space travel again became practical. Those who remained behind on the ruined, nearly empty home world are the players of Neocron.
