PC Gameworld gave SOE's 'EverQuest' sequel a score of 90% in their review.
Has less instant fun than World of Warcraft, but there is a stronger sense of accomplishment.

Long, heated arguments are certainly not uncommon where MMORPGs are involved. Mathematics does not have a number to describe the amount of EQ2 vs WoW threads I’ve seen. Therefore this review will be about EQ2 only, and no comparison will be made with WoW.

I received the Collector’s Edition of EQ2, which comes in a metal ‘chest’ and contains maps, posters, the manual, a velvet purse with coin, an art book and the disc case, which looks like a book. In addition to the game DVDs, you get a soundtrack CD, which is great if you like orchestral music.
