Here's something about the economy: The economy of EVE is as complex as our own; the entire game is complex, so complex in fact that even other members of the development team can't seem to keep it all straight. They'll often tell you to "ask Reynir," or make the excuse that elements of the game have changed since they last demonstrated it to anyone. They assure us though, that the game with all of its complexities will not overwhelm new players. It begins with a set of training missions (you even get paid to perform them) teaching you how to play the game and slowly introducing all of its complexities.
