Star Wars: KotOR has been reviewed at VGN. There's no specific score but their recommendation is 'thumbs up'. Here's a snip:
The absolute best thing about this game is the sense of freedom you get playing it. It allows you to solve problems your own way. But much like in real life, the decisions you make often times have consequences. For example, if you constantly are mean to people and solve all of your problems with force rather than wisdom, you will begin to drift towards the dark side of the force. That's right, you can fully become a dark jedi if your black heart so desires. And to answer your question, yes you can become a jedi. You can use the force to move faster, jump higher, shoot lightning from your hand, blow up droids, choke people, influence npc's minds, and so on. Chances are, if you've seen a neat force power in the movies you'll find it in this game.
