The folks over at Project Entropia Stratics bumped up an interview with Marco and Thommie of MindArk. At the same time they also posted the report of their visit to the MindArk studios in Gothenborg, Sweden. Additionally, they also opened a Project Entropia Trade Forum. Here's a snip from the interview, about day/night-cycles in the game: Day, night, weather, sandstorms and such will all be implemented. Project Entropia will stick to the 24-hour cycles we use on Earth but the days and night will be divided into smaller pieces in a way that you won't have night every time you login at 9 pm. With the 24-hour in-game time it will be possible to experience nights two times or more during a given day. But the advantages are that you won't have to care of any Project Entropia time zone converter. If you tell someone to meet you in 48 hours then it is 48 hours in game and real life and nothing else. Also Project Entropia will have animals that appear only at night. |
