Here's an excerpt from this article: VR1 Entertainment on Monday told the Adrenaline Vault that an online article reporting the cancellation of its massively-multiplayer role-playing game Lost Continents [website] is premature. Executive vice-president Mike Lomas said during a phone interview that VR1 had stopped production on the project, which was at the pre-alpha phase after two-and-a-half-years of development, so management could evaluate the best way of completing it. This led the company to dismiss four members from the Lost Continents team during a recent round of layoffs that reduced VR1's Colorado-based staff by 12.
