I ended up leaving that game as it left absent all of the reasons I play Meridian. Server 101 offers a dynamic community of people, some of whom I've known since the age of 12 - Togather we build our charecters, an effort in Everquest that often felt like a chore. For many years this game has been around, and even the most adept player has yet to discover all of the game's secrets. A month ago my dad asked me what class my charecter was. You know, wizard, ranger, lather, rinse, repeat, yawn. Meridian never bought in to that. Charecters start off a blank page with you the author to choose what they will become. There is no ubber build, or ULTRA-MEGA-DEATH spell =/ Nor will you often find two identical charecters, even among the best PvPers. Your charisma is based on your personality, not some stat point. Your path is not preset, you choose. The game has lasted, because it's the best. Hope to see you there
