The MMORPG market is about to see a glut of new titles this year but are there enough players willing to pay a monthly fee? Who will win the race and succeed in taking down the mighty EQ? Questions I can't answer I'm afraid but we have been taking a look at one of the contenders, Blizzard's much talked about World of Warcraft.

We all sat here waiting for the announcement, would it be Thursday, would it be Friday, Blizzard were teasing us with cryptic clues. Finally the mail came through and it was all hands on deck. BitTorrent fired up we managed to get our hands on the 2 gig download in about 4 hours and it was straight into the action. I won't bore you with too much race/class info. You've heard it all before so I'll just go through the first few days of playing and what I think of things so far.
