Rubies of Eventide: 10/10 points |
The Good: Character creation is exceedingly flexible. It is unlikely that you will find any two characters that are the same. They may be of the same class, but each will have its own little tweaks by the preferrences of the player behind the character.
The community is a grand collection of unique personalities. Naturally you will find those that you agree with and those you don't, but all opinions are heard. Some are even acted upon.
The management is part of the player base. It makes for a very close relationship between those who run the game and those that just play.
The Bad: With its flexibility, you really need to create a sense of who your character really is. It hasn't been the sort of game that lends itself to character identity exclusively by race and class. Not sure this is bad, but if you aren't careful you might look at your character and wonder how it got from there to here.
The Ugly: Orcs and Ogres, naturally. :p |
