Ever since Troika and Activision announced that they had licensed the Half-Life 2 technology to power their first-person perspective RPG Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, an extraordinarily diverse group of gamers has been clamoring for information about the game. RPG fans, of course, are excited about Troika, a company respected for its ability to put together solid RPGs, getting its mitts on the Vampire license, a paper-and-pencil RPG bursting with possibilities that hasn't had the greatest track record when it comes to the videogame arena. First-person shooter fans, on the other hand, are eager for any images or information about the long-awaited Half-Life sequel, and are eager to see it in action - even if it's powering another game. The bad news is that gamers and journalists will have to wait a while longer before they can get their hands on the game. The good news is that Troika has released the next best thing - a 30 minute presentation by Thaine Lyman, the game's executive producer, demonstrating many of the game's features.
