1) Scott Bilas from Gas Powered Games has commented on the framerate issues a lot of users are experiencing in GPG's/Microsoft's hack'n'slash RPG Dungeon Siege, saying that the CPU requires a lot of resources for all kinds of game related calculations. However, he also sort of admitted that there must be a bug in the engine as he was able to verify what other gamers reported. The game seems to run faster on supposedly weaker systems in some cases. Gas Powered Games is currently looking into the issue, and will be addressing it in an upcoming patch.
