RPGDot Game Rating Machine

Dajjer has rated the following games:

Deus Ex: 10/10 points

I bought this game twice. The first time I did not have the computer to run the game, so back to the store it went. About 6 months later after I had my new machine I got the game again. If my harddrive hadn't crashed I would still have this on my computer today. One testament to the great game design is that 6 years later people are still playing this game and loving it.

Elder Scrolls 3 - Morrowind: 9/10 points

Great game. Stupendous grahics. If game graphics stayed like this forever, I would not be upset. Definitly a desert isle game due to it's huge gaming world and tremendous tool set. The big downer however is the almost complete lack of personality of the NPCs and out of place, old school adventure way of talking to them. Very Very tedius.

Gothic 2: 10/10 points

Not perfect but one of the best Role playing games I had ever played. It's true the controls take some getting used to and the game can be tough for beginners. But this is one of those game that if you put in some time it will be well worth it. Gothic is probably what Might and Magic should have evolved too. Both games had compelling game worlds but Gothic seemed to me a step up in first person perspective immersive RPG worlds. I loved this game and look forward to its sequel.

Gothic 2: 10/10 points

I see Gothic as the latest step forward in the evolulion of CRPG. First Wizardry for putting it on the screen. Bards Tale came along and refined the graphics process. Ultima came along and made the gaming fluid. And the last and latest step was Gothic which made the whole gaming world come alive. (Something Oblivion is sorely hoping for). Its been 3 years and to this date you can not play a CRPG that has a more living game world. A true testatment to brilliant game design.

Gothic 2 - Die Nacht des Raben: 10/10 points

How they seemlessly added this to the G2 world is a marvel. A just to make sure former G2 players didn't get too bored, they made this game way way way way way way harder. The game has its flaws (some bugs and CTDs) but it is not enough to detract from it oveall splender. And until, an RPG "starts" to match the living world of gothic, atop its perch it stays.

Kult: Heretic Kingdoms: 8/10 points

Fun game and easy to get into. But the way you get around in the game world was lame and the ending was a huge disappointment compared to the way they game was set up.

Might & Magic 6 - The Mandate of Heaven: 10/10 points

Until, Gothic game along this was my favorite RPG ever. Fluid game world, great gaming music, superior game play, great character advancement. I've only replayed 2 RPGs in my 20 year gaming career. This is one of them. It's funny but I've played all the M&Ms and this was my favorite. It's funny because usually its either the oldest version or the latest version that it the best. But here, its the middle version.

The Bard's Tale (InXile): 6/10 points

I rate it as high as a 6 because in parts it is very funny and I did get about 15 play hours out of the thing. But the repetive and unimaginative game play was just way too much to take.
