There's a brief review of Morrowind up on a site called Music 4 Games. Given the site's name, they focus more on the soundtrack. Morrowind receives 9/10 points from them, and here's something from the article:
Where Morrowind truly excels is the music soundtrack. Written and composed by Jeremy Soule the music is fantastic, creating the atmosphere desired in this genre. Jeremy has been responsible for some of the great game soundtracks to date, Unreal 2, Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance, Icewind Dale and Harry Potter which was nominated for the AIAS outstanding achievement in original music composition award. So as you can see his resume speaks for itself. The score is excellent and if you can get your hands on a copy of the collector's edition of the game then you get a copy of the soundtrack on a separate CD. The fact that I have now listened to the soundtrack alone a few times proves the quality of the composition and that Jeremy Soule is undeniably one of the best composers working in games at the moment.
