Silven Crossroads has published a review of Arx Fatalis - and they gave a rating of 9.5/10. Here's their conclusion:
All in all, I highly recommend Arx Fatalis. Seasoned gamers may find some of the quests a bit too easy but the story and graphics are so well done that I believe all RPG fans will find Arx Fatalis quite enjoyable. For me, it ranks right up there with Daggerfall and NeverWinterNights. Now, tarry no longer! Go to Arx quickly and save the world from the evil Akbaa. You will find it to be quite a rewarding experience.
