Anarchy Online: Shadowlands: 2/10 points |
I have played AO for over 3 years, after leaving EQ. I left EQ because of the horrible faction and camping problems. I was delighted with AO, but now, with Shadowlands, AO has become EQ with guns. Although SL is great eye candy, that hardly makes up for the sheer tedium that has been designed into Shadowlands. One wonders if FunCom recruited the worst EQ game designers to create this disaster. Sadly, the flaws are so entrenched in the design, it is doubtful that Shadowlands will ever be playable and fun. |
Arx Fatalis: 8/10 points |

The underworld feeling is done very well. The graphics and especially the sound effects are great. Catches the spirit of Ultima Underworld quite well.

Buggy. Mediocre interface. Somewhat short and linear. |
Baldur's Gate 2 - Shadows of Amn: 10/10 points |
Excellent game, I always come back to this one, despite newer games in my collection. Perhaps a little linear, but you can still spend days doing subquests without following the main story line. This is the best RPG I've ever played. |
Divine Divinity: 10/10 points |

Dungeon Siege: 1/10 points |
It's a 3d version of the infamous "hack-n-slash" Diablo2 ... BORING smash vase, smash box, smash monster, repeat, repeat, repeat. at least Neverwinter Nights has some excitement and story to it, plus over 2500 community created maps unlike Dungeon Siege's measly little 10 maps.
Dungeon Siege SUCKS!! |
Elder Scrolls 3 - Morrowind: 5/10 points |
A CRPG with Good graphics and a nice skill system but the gameworld feels pretty lifeless due to poorly developed NPCs and very, very uninspired quests(lack big time of good scripting). It gets boring and feels quite empty after a while since you're mainly doing cheap errand jobs. Also there could be more variety in the local wildlife and monster population. |
Elder Scrolls 3 - Morrowind: 9/10 points |
The Best RPG ever! |
Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 10/10 points |

Freelancer: 9/10 points |
Good game, although not really a RPG. Linear plot, but still fun. |
Gothic 2: 10/10 points |
best story and immersion in an RPG |
Gothic 2 - Die Nacht des Raben: 10/10 points |
Polish version is Great but actor's voices are ugly. |
Might & Magic 9: 3/10 points |
Not only the worst in the series of M&M, but one of the worst RPG's ever. Bugs galore, very awkward storyline, and too easy! I remember when M&M used to take months to finish. Finished this one in less than a week. That's pretty weak. My main beef is how 3DO talked up this game: they said that it would have intelligent scripting, villagers would do different things throughout the day...making it seems like a real village. I only saw villagers walking around blindly facing walls. They said that the creature AI was increased. Well...yes it is increased from the days from the days of rush straight at you and attack...but they certainly can't 'outsmart' you as 3DO has claimed they would do....lots more wrong with it. Too many to put in one review. |
Neverwinter Nights: 10/10 points |
It's simply the best RPG game! HotU and SoU rulez!!! |
Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide: 9/10 points |

Planescape: Torment: 10/10 points |
Incredible good developed characters. Very immersive plot. Also i liked the unconventional setting of the game which differs from overused Tolkien cliches(e.g. evil orcs, Dwarves hate elves etc.). All in all one the best CRPGs i've ever played. |
Planescape: Torment: 10/10 points |
this game roxxorrs |
Planescape: Torment: 3/10 points |
Waaay to slow playing. Weapons are hard to come by and your character is painfully slow moving. When you have to move from one side of the city to the next, be prepared for lots of slooow walking and bring a book! |
Ultima 7 - The Black Gate: 10/10 points |
best true rpg ever. unlimited freedom and ability to explore. puts modern rpgs like bg series to shame. |
