This expansion dosen't change anything major about Diablo 2, it just adds stuff. Adds alot in fact. 2 new classes with full new skill trees, tons of new items and tons of new and interesting ways to use them. If you feel that after beating the original Diablo 2, you could still continue doing the same thing in new settings, then get this expansion. |

Repetetive in the extreme. This game is only marginally fun, if you play it multiplayer, and then only for a couple of hours. Then it loses all appeal. At least to me it does. |

Playing Diablo II was a very mentally and physically challenge for me as I found hours passing without being able to take a break. When I finally finished it in Nightmare level I felt more satisifed than I ever felt for any other game. The first time I beat Diablo it took me almost two hours and I was a shaking, sweating wreck afterwards. Diablo I was absolute pants but Diablo II is my favourite game ever... bar none... The graphics may not be the best, but the gameplay and balance are outstanding. |

As said before, RPG elements are non-existent beyond kill for xp and buy skills with xp to kill more efficiently. IMHO that's not RP. This game is the grand-daddy of hack and slash and that is the only thing it excels at. 10/10 for hack and slash. 0/10 for RP. (I'm biased towards RP so it didn't get 5/10 overall.) |

Entertainment pure, nice skill system and of course *items*. Diablo 2 is all about the items you find, you either like powergaming or you will hate this one. Perfect for some hours of monster-bashing-no-brainer fun after work or school. Lots of people to meet there online, although the vast majority is awfully retarded and annoying ^_^ huk huk kekeke |

This game has the highest amount of items, meaning weapons, armor and jewelry. Even if it is 2D, the characters are 3d based. This game has an awesome storyline, the ultimate good vs. evil, and lots of time to master this game cuz just when you think your big stuff, theres always someone whos better. Diablo Rocks!!! |

i think this is the best game ever. everyone should have it. although i have been having problems getting on to useast. it sometimes tell me the realm is down, but noone else seems to have gotten booted of. i think it is because of all the hacks that people are using. is this really the reason why? or is just because of to many people playing? |

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction is a quality game. Amazing amounts of things to do multiplayer wise with the trading, runes, uniques, and all that other stuff. I loved it, played it for two years. The game has it's downfall with the actually storyline though. There's not much too it, and it's too easy to level up. Battlenet is cool. This games gets 7/10 paws! -Tobbes |

This game is the best... this game i always play over the day, and sometimes over the night. The best thing is Multiplayer, the fact to have LAN, or connect to Battle.net with Single Player characters and Multiplayer Characters. This game is very sweet. Dont rate this thing lower than 5. This game shows that YOU SUCK AT THIS GAME if you dont like it.... This game is not just Click Click, Point Point Attack Attack. It is alot more than that. This game gets a 10 out of 10 for me pal. |

They could have done a much better job. Point, click, point, click. Not a very rewarding game, as all you do is hunt endless streams of monsters. Nothing at all mentally engaging. If you're the type that gets endless kicks out of dropping marbles on the floor, this is the game for you. |

Wonderful theme (Heaven vs. Hell, one of my favorites). Horribly addictive, with that temptation of getting a Godly item drop, although this can be somewhat repetative (like killing Diablo 1000 times). All in all, I love the game, and the expansion is a wonderful add-on. They should make a new patch however, one to help fight the addictiveness. |
