Here's the most important part: Artifact Entertainment, Inc., the developer of Horizons, the ambitious and highly anticipated Massive Multiplayer Online Game, selects Intrinsic Graphics' Alchemy to support product development for online game titles MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - November 1, 2001 - Intrinsic Graphics™, Inc., the developer of the innovative Intrinsic Alchemy game development platform, announced today a licensing agreement that allows Artifact Entertainment, Inc. to utilize Intrinsic Graphics' Alchemy and provides Artifact Entertainment with technical support and training to permit the company to streamline and optimize its game development process. "Intrinsic Graphics' Alchemy provides us with a visually stunning solution that complements our internally developed technologies. By choosing Alchemy, our veteran developer staff is able to focus on providing compelling and feature rich game systems, which in the end will create a more exciting and fulfilling experience for our customers. Under the terms of the agreement, Artifact Entertainment will license Intrinsic Graphics' Alchemy, allowing Artifact Entertainment to develop and deliver Massive Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) titles for PCs. Intrinsic Graphics will also provide full technical backup, enabling Artifact Entertainment to customize and integrate its own title-specific technologies, ensuring that each game carries the creative innovation for which Artifact Entertainment is known.
