GameGossip is reporting a announcement from NCsoft Europe:
Thursday 18 November 2004/... NCsoftTM Europe (NC-E) has today confirmed that the world's most popular massively multiplayer universe will start rolling out across Europe this week, with the immediate release of LineageŽ II: The Chaotic Chronicle. The release in Europe includes the original version of the game and Chronicle 1: Harbingers of War.

NC-E has further confirmed that the second update to Lineage II, entitled Chronicle 2: Age of Splendor, will be available for download in December. In Europe, Age of Splendor will also be available in a special limited edition DVD bundled with a range of collectable Time Cards when they are launched in mid-December.

The Time Cards, which come in three beautiful iterations, give gamers 60 days of play and will be available through retail. An added benefit of the Time Cards is to give potential players who may not have access to a credit card an easy way to play. The DVD is a full game client installation of Lineage II, with completely up-to-date content including the 650Mb update Chronicle 2: Age of Splendor. Players will need to have previously purchased and set up a Lineage II account with NCsoft.

Lineage II is a classically molded MMO, with a strong fantasy theme running throughout. Creating your character from a range of races, from dwarves to dark elves, players are thrown into the hectic and thrilling world of player vs player combat. Clans will form alliances with other clans, and as quickly break them to further their own ends. Play the bad guy for too long, however, and you may find yourself exposed by the innovative Karma system.
