A review of Heroes of Might & Magic 4: The Gathering Storm has been posted at PC Gameworld. They aren't too fond of it, as their conclusion and their rating of 70% shows:
In the end, HoMMIV: The Gathering Storm is simply more of what you either liked or didn’t like about the original. The additional objects and artifacts are uninspired, I couldn’t actually control any of the new creatures, and a multiplayer patch is already available online for free. There’s simply nothing terribly fresh included in the expansion, and only folks who have played through all of the previous two Heroes games should really feel a need to pick up this expansion.

The Gathering Storm isn’t bad, it’s just kind of boring.
