When is a MMORPG not a MMORPG? When it’s free to play online, for one thing. Guild Wars is yet another massively online title-shaped feather in the cap of NCSoft, the Korean company that made its fortune with Lineage. The game is being developed by subsidiary company ArenaNet, a Seattle-based studio founded by several former Blizzard employees.
