Internal Affairs: Chitchat

Bah, a boring news day so far. Even considered reinstalling Might & Magic VII - can you believe? Outside, it is raining cats and dogs, and the temperature is more October than July. I planned to go hiking and climbing a little this weekend, but I think I would drown from the rain...

I am fooling around a little with Diablo 2 - Lord of Destruction. It's a perfect game for those semi-bored afternoons, but I think it is nothing you would call outstanding. The other day, I played the Anachronox demo. I have to admit that I am not sure if I will go for the full game. Not that Anachronox is bad, no way, but somehow it doesn't "catch" me. Think of yourself. There are games others would die for, including the gaming press - and you couldn't care less. Others get little to no public attention, and you are addicted to them. One of these games for me is ZAngbandTK - I have to beat that devil sometimes *g*

BTW, we are still looking for some news guys and editors. Basically, you can't have enough of them. While we receive some applications every week, seldom you find someone who is really devoted to this kind of work. If you think you have what it takes, take it to RPGDot and show it to the CRPG world.

Another issue to fill this lazy saturday with: check our boards from time to time. We have game specific forums for Gothic, Divine Divinity, Gorasul and Arx Fatalis - on each of these forums you'll find someone from the development team to talk to. Besides that, there are some very interesting discussions running in our general CRPG forum, so maybe you might want to drop by and browse a little.

Seems like I am becoming talkative again *g*. One final note, before I grab my sword again: we are still about 100$ short of what we will have to pay in excess of our regular bandwidth usage, due to the grown popularity of RPGDot and the amount of traffic our hosted sites generate - so if you are in a generous mood, help us keep this thingie running and visit our donation page. Whether you can spare some dimes or not: have a nice day, dig out your favorite CRPG and enjoy. We'll try to be a part of that fun for you.
