Jonric: For readers unfamiliar with the playable races, what are they, and how do they differ? How did you come up with the Dragonblood and Shadow as the two additions instead of Elves, Dwarves et al?

Phil White: There are three races, Humans who tend towards magic, the Dragonblood, who are warriors and the Shadow who are adepts at roguish arts. If you want to know more about them, then please read one of our old newsletters here in which the latter two were introduced.

The additional races were added in order to provide more depth to the world of Fortitude. Hopefully by now, you will all know that we do not subscribe to the normal stereotypical fantasy types so going for the easy option was not an option. ;)
