RPG Vault has interviewed Object Software's Chief Designer and Project Manager Liu Jing, Product Manager Wang Chun and Designer Shen Yi about their company's Chinese-themed action RPG 'Seal of Evil'.
Jonric: As an introductory summary, what would you like to tell our readers about Seal of Evil, its main features and influences, and the meaning of the name?

Liu Jing: The game, Seal of Evil, is quite different from Prince of Qin in art style. It is more bright and colorful. And in other aspects, such as making things and quest systems, it is more interesting than Prince of Qin. Seal of Evil is an action RPG. Actually, both Diablo and Baldur's Gate have some influences on the game, but we didn't just copy them. We have really introduced some new points. I believe players can feel them when they are playing it.

The title of the game, Seal of Evil, is taken from the background story of the game. In Chinese legend, after being defeated in a war, the souls of an evil god and his followers were sealed. In the game, this evil god comes back to life, and the humans must try to save the whole world and seal his soul again.
