The massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) market has been extremely stagnant lately. We have seen release after release of the same game in a different place or time. There is very little innovation, and although World of Warcraft (WoW) presents no alternative design for the market, it certainly refined and solidified a market stranded in lethargy.
