Black Isle gave Dark Alliance 2 a bit more polish and removed those elements that didn’t quite work in the first game. But generally, their philosophy seems to be: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That’s a good idea for a winning formula, and if the game’s levels, enemies, and plot are interesting enough, it will succeed.
